Huge Congrats on your first child! Thats so great! I hope you two have a happy healthy baby! Cheers :) -- PopeyePete (talk) 07:58, 13 August 2013 (CDT)

D you came through with flying colors once again! I feel like a goon because I didnt even see that you added the Karen Black page (which we needed very badly) a couple days ago. Well I just posted it on Facebook/Twitter/front page. Cant thank ya enough for this tribute. A++ dude!! Hope youre having a great summer and watching lots of cool flicks! All the best to ya bro! --PopeyePete (talk) 18:28, 12 August 2013 (CDT)

Superb Susan George bio/profile! One of my favorite actresses of cult cinema. Was she a doll back then or what? Thanks much D!--PopeyePete (talk) 09:59, 12 January 2013 (CST)

Props on the Blood for Dracula screencaps! :) -PopeyePete (talk) 11:52, 2 December 2012 (CST)

Hey D, the storm knocked out the power for a few hours and my front fence fell over, besides that Everything wasnt bad here (MA). I guess they really got nailed in NJ, NY though. These storms are the worst. Thanks for the thoughts, Hope things are cool with you. Happy Halloween! -PopeyePete (talk) 14:35, 30 October 2012 (CDT)

Special thanks for the awesome screencaps on Demons page! Def needed some to fill that space. Cheers --PopeyePete (talk) 16:14, 3 September 2012 (CDT)

Rockin DOTA review! I just saw that a few months back. When Leslie Nielsen goes crazy, I was like: Holy shit! One of my fav parts in the film. --PopeyePete (talk) 12:20, 14 July 2012 (CDT)

I went ahead and fixed your page using the new template. If you look at the code, thats what we'll be using from now on. So its all set for ya, cheers! --PopeyePete (talk) 00:17, 30 May 2012 (CEST)

Hey D! hows it going dude? Hope things are cool with you. About the site/left side stuff: Seb upgraded the Mediawiki to the latest version, when he did that, it screwed up the layouts, but luckily theres a new "search and replace function" so we can fix things like that en mass. So all the pages except for a few are back to normal. I forgot about the editor pages. Ill tell him to fix those too. Been trying to bring in some more editors to keep things going too. Have a great summer and look forward to the next batch of reviews! ---PopeyePete (talk) 00:10, 30 May 2012 (CEST)

Loved the Shatner bio! When I saw we didnt have Impulse added yet, had to put it in there to complete the Top Shatnersploitation picks! Hope all is well with you! --PopeyePete 18:54, 11 March 2012 (CET)

Great job on both reviews Darren! -- PopeyePete 08:53, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Two more 42nd St grindhouse classics! Awesome! Thanks D! --PopeyePete 08:52, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Cheers Pete. I think I need a rest from all things Swedish after that double bill !! All the best -- Narcan

haha! I hear ya! Those Swedes know how to party! Thanks again for your work! --PopeyePete 09:17, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Really great stuff Darren! I love reading about these movies I havent seen. You Brits prob can get titles we in the US dont even have alot of times. Cheers! NOTE: Hopefully we can get our forum back again so we can start discussing movies like before! I miss it! --PopeyePete 21:24, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot Pete. I'm really glad that you like the reviews so far. The copy of 'The Dirt Gang' I used for the review is a VHS tape that's at least 25 years old & has been retitled 'Deathgame'. The tape cost me about 50p (around $1.00 !!) -- Narcan 16 NOV 09

wow! So it was under another title too? I love biker flix, but most of the ones Ive seen have been on TV or DVD. --PopeyePete 14:55, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Awesome work Darren. I really appreciate the help on the site!! Happy Holidays! --PopeyePete 18:38, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Cheers Pete. And I should thank you for posting the link to the Universal Cult Horror box set from TCM: I ordered a copy as an early X-mas present to myself! Take it easy. Narcan - 26 NOV 2009

Opened up a Paul Naschy page, if you wanted to write a little blurb as a tribute maybe? That would be great. Ive been trying to add bios to every page, but Im behind on it right now. If you ever feel inclined to add info to the pages, feel free. The more data, the better! Cheers! --PopeyePete 14:26, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks Pete, I'll give it some thought & see what I can come up with & I'll also get a few more Naschy reviews under way. Any excuse to watch 'The Werewolf & The Yeti' again. Narcan

Sounds good to me! Youve done a fantastic job on your reviews. Im very happy to have you helping out on the site!! --PopeyePete 20:44, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Awesome job on the Paul Naschy bio! Just added a couple of links to the page. I'll post the dedication info on mainpage Twitter/Facebook now. Cheers! --PopeyePete 18:18, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Excellent Tura bio! Thanks very much D! :) --PopeyePete 19:44, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the notice on the Weng weng title! I didnt look close enough. Added a redirect to the original page to the correct title page. Great review too! Cheers! --PopeyePete 13:55, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

I saw Superman Returns and my brain went *BUZZZ*!" haha! I thought you were reviewing the Singer film! *WHEW* :) --PopeyePete 13:27, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

The El Santo flix will be a great addition! El Santo icon: Ill make one up and add it for ya! Cheers! -PopeyePete 22:57, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Just thinking we should have some kind of 'El Santo Mexploitation Special' on the site when youre finished with the reviews. Some basic info on Lucha Libre etc Would be really great! --PopeyePete 23:20, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Another homerun! That Lucha Libre page looks awesome! Just added a little audio clip to it. We can add some external links too. Once your Santo reviews are finished we'll throw an El Santo Party on the main page. It will truly rock la casa! Cheers D! --PopeyePete 19:25, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Hey D! Hope youre having a great summer. The El Santo pages are coming out so cool. I m really digging this new section and really appreciate your time/work on it! Right now Im moving into the next phase of the wiki, adding as much info to each page (A-Z) as I can, external reviews, images etc. Trying to get the GCDB to be as comprehensive as possible! Cheers! --PopeyePete 16:38, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Hey D! I was wondering where you were at! Its good to hear your comp troubles are fixed! BTW We (me and Seb of the QT Archives) recently started a new movie site/blog where we'll be covering mainstream/arthouse/indie based films called Furious Cinema ( It will be expanding in 2011, we'll be revamping the design etc. Its pretty minimal atm. We are currently looking for staff/guest writers to contribute, so if you ever have reviews/articles that would fit, we'd love to post your stuff there. Let me know.

NOTE: We have a new policy regarding copyright laws with pictures (we had some big trouble with a photo we posted we had to take down). So from now on we have to be more aware of the images we use. Just make sure before you add them that its a non copyrighted pic and it should be fine. Thanks again! --PopeyePete 01:26, 13 December 2010 (CET)

WIKI NEWS: Hey D, Ive recently added an RSS Feed to the site, which is great cuz now we wont have to do News updates by hand anymore. One detail that I wanted to let you know about is The Minor Edit option at the bottom of the pages. how it works is: If you add pics/text to a old data page, you can now click the minor edit and it wont show up on the RSS Feed as an update. If you open a new page you can just add it as usual and that will show up on the feed. but, its really up to you what you want to show up on the feed. --PopeyePete 20:08, 1 January 2011 (CET)

Nunsploitation article is just awesome. Cant tell ya how happy I am you did this. We need articles like this really bad, so its a great addition to the database. Thanks very much! :) --PopeyePete 14:05, 10 July 2011 (CEST)

Big Thanks for adding the better res images for the Paul Naschy flick, it def needed some! -PopeyePete 21:43, 12 October 2011 (CEST)

Hey D, Happy Holidays to you too! its great to see 4,000 fans on facebook. lots of cool folks. Hope school is going well. Sounds like youre even getting some exploitation cinema into your studies which is awesome. Looking forward to reading more of your reviews. Cheers! --PopeyePete 13:49, 15 December 2011 (CET)
