< Let's Scare Jessica to Death
  • “Dreams or nightmares… madness or sanity… I don’t know which is which.” And so begins the dreamlike and surreal tale of a recovering schizophrenic reintegrating into normal life with her husband and a friend as they move to a seaside Connecticut farmhouse. Everything seems tranquil at first, but when a sexy female squatter comes into their lives, Jessica’s internal monologue starts acting up again and sends her caterwauling into a complex delusion filled with infidelity, murder and communal blood-sucking. Blurring the lines between the real and imaginary, Let’s Scare Jessica to Death exemplifies the freedom of 70’s cinema, showcasing the unique direction, handsome photography and patient storytelling that were staples of a decade that gave America some of its most impressive cinematic art. --Mdeapo 00:04, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
