	Before their was [[Johnny Firecloud]], [[Jack Starrett]] gave us "Vittorio!" Cry Blood, Apache (1970) opens with an older Pitcalin (Joel McCrea) riding to a secluded location in the desert. Upon arriving the viewer is given a flashback of a terrible series of events that occurred in his youth. The opening scene involves an amiable group of Native Americans and outlaws enjoying themselves with drink, song, and dance. Eventually, one of the natives slips and falls revealing a small stash of gold nuggets. Feverish with greed, the outlaws begin to attack the natives for lack of explaining where they found the gold. All but two women are killed; they are assaulted and one is beat to death. The last remaining female, Cochalla (Carolyn Stellar), agrees to lead the band to the gold. Shortly after breaking camp, the lone Apache, Vittorio (Dan Kemp), finds the carnage and his reaction implies that the slain are most likely his family. 		+	Before Spike Lee, Tyler Perry, IN LIVING COLOR, and I'M GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA, there was SUPER SPOOK! Leonard Jackson (Five on the Blackhand Side, The Color Purple) is SUPER SPOOK! He doesn't fit the mold of your typical handsome black action hero. He's short, old, and out of rhythm from the cats down in Harlem. After a Harlem numbers lady (Virginia Fields) is robbed in Central Park, her daughter (Marcella Lowery, TV's THE COSBY SHOW, GHOSTWRITER) hires Super Spook to solve her case before the mob and a crooked undercover cop (Tony King, REPORT TO THE COMMISSIONER) come down on her mom.

		+	SUPER SPOOK was created by a group of independent black filmmakers. Eight of them went out and made history by ad-libbing a movie with no money, no script, no crew, and no equipment, and filmed it in 9 days in 1972. It became one of the first real independent black motion pictures in the history of black cinema. SUPER SPOOK was originally released in theatres with an 89 minute running time. We are proud to present this rare motion picture in its original uncut DIRECTOR’S CUT, the complete 106 minute version, for the first time ever. Never seen before in theaters or on home video, the complete uncut director’s version of SUPER SPOOK has finally arrived!
